Celebrate Veterans Day with Post 184!!
Join American Legion Post 184 as we honor our nation’s heroes at our annual Veterans Day BBQ & Picnic. Enjoy great food, live entertainment, and community camaraderie.
Event Details
- Date: Wednesday, November 11, 2026
- Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM The presentation of our flags will be performed by our Redondo Beach High School MCJROTC cadets.
- Location: American Legion South Bay Post 184
- Admission: Free & open to the public (members, neighbors, family, and friends welcome) Legion parking lot will be reserved for handicapped parking only. A golf cart will be available to help transport our guests from the parking lot entrance to the event space. Our parking lot fills quickly, so we recommend parking on Pearl Street and walking down the private drive.
- Live Music: Jerry Romano & Friends, smooth jazz, standards, and great vocals
Food & Potluck Details
Post 184 will fire up the grill and provide freshly cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, and hot links.
This event is potluck-style, and we welcome side dishes and desserts to round out the spread. Favorite contributions include:
- Green, pasta, or potato salads
- Baked beans and warm sides
- Cookies, brownies, and desserts

Supporting Our Troops
Monetary contributions are warmly appreciated and can be placed in various donation canisters placed around the Post. All proceeds directly support active-duty service members and military families through Joseph’s Gift.
