Announcing the kickoff of the 2025 Post 184 BBQ Event season! Our first event is Post 184’s Memorial Day BBQ, and it is on Monday, May 26th, from 12 PM to 3 PM. The American Legion SALs will provide yummy hamburgers and hotdogs grilled to perfection.
Always a festive and fun event, there will be lots of tables and chairs set up for all—plenty of room for everyone and comfortable, too. There will also be lots of shade under our giant coastal sycamore tree and pop-ups to keep you cool. In addition, live music with the musical stylings of Jerry Romano and Friends will be performed for your enjoyment! And this being Memorial Day, the Redondo Union High School ROTC Color Guard Team will present The Colors. Our Memorial Day BBQ is open to the public, with friends, neighbors, and guests encouraged to attend.
Our Memorial Day BBQ is a potluck event! We greatly appreciate donations of sides and food to add to the celebration. We ask that folks bring a favorite dish to share with the rest of the guests. Ideas for potluck side dishes are salads, beans, and desserts. Thanks in advance for helping to support this annual event. We appreciate all of the excellent dishes and food that everyone brings. Please don’t hesitate to drop by Post 184 and let the bar staff know what you are bringing, or call (310) 316-6718 and leave a message. Thanks in advance for your support. Your delicious side dishes make the event that much more special.

The inside bar will be open for cold beverages of your choice beginning at 11 AM on Monday, May 26th. Monetary donations to Post 184 are always appreciated—there’s a big round canister where you can drop off your monetary contributions. All donations go to support Veterans and other programs we support. We hope to see all of you this upcoming Monday, May 26th, from 12 Noon to 3 PM! The Sons Of The American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, and our entire Post wish everyone well on this day of remembrance. Everyone here at Post 184 looks forward to a great day with you all.
