Announcing our next event of the 2026 BBQ season! Post 184’s Labor Day BBQ and Picnic is set for Monday, September 7th, from 12 PM to 3 PM.
The American Legion will provide delicious hamburgers and hot dogs grilled to perfection. Always a festive and fun event, there will be nice tables and chairs set up for all. There will be plenty of room for everyone, and it will be comfortable, too, with seating under the shade of pop-up tents and our giant Coastal Sycamore Tree.
Our Labor Day BBQ and Picnic is open to the public, with friends, neighbors, and guests encouraged to attend. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a relaxing day in our great backyard area. Live Music from Jerry Ramano and Friends – mellow and relaxing.
Our event is a potluck! We greatly appreciate donations of sides and food to add to the celebration. If you can, we ask that you bring a favorite dish to share with the rest of the group. Some ideas for potluck side dishes you might consider are salads, beans, or perhaps a dessert. Please let the bar staff know what you are bringing; bartender Kelly is keeping a list. Thank you in advance for your support of this annual event. We appreciate all of the excellent dishes and food that everyone brings. You can drop by Post 184 to add your side dish to the list, or call Post 184 at (310) 316-6718 to leave a message. Thanks again for your support!
Additionally, monetary donations are always appreciated—there are big round canisters where you can drop off your donation. All donations support veterans and their families, as well as local programs that Post 184 sponsors, such as the ROTC at Redondo Union High School, scholarships, and other initiatives that benefit our community.
We hope to see all of you on Monday, September 7th, from 12 Noon to 3 PM! The American Legion organization and our entire Post wish everyone well on this day of celebration of our labors. Everyone here at Post 184 is looking forward to a great day with you all.
