Join Us: 2026 Memorial Day BBQ & Ceremony
Come celebrate Memorial Day 2026 with American Legion South Bay Post 184 on Monday, May 25th. Our Canteen and food service will begin at 12:00 PM, kicking off an afternoon of remembrance and fellowship that runs until 3:00 PM.
The Program:
The RUHS MCJROTC will present the flags during a ceremony hosted by Vice Commander Jesse Leal. Afterward, enjoy live music from Jerry Romano and his band.
Food & Seating:
We are serving burgers, hot dogs, and hot links with all the side dishes. Whether you want to relax under the shade of our giant sycamore tree and pop-up tents, or prefer to eat inside the Post, we have plenty of seating and tables available for everyone.
We invite members and guests to bring a side dish to share. Monetary donations collected during the event will go directly toward supporting our Legion and the various programs we support. There will be donation locations set up around the event. Thanks in advance for your support of The American Legion South Bay!
Parking & Directions:
Free parking is available in the lot behind the Post and along Pearl Street. Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbors.
