Calling All Chili Chefs! Crock Pots at the ready!
Post 184’s SALs Annual Chili Contest will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12 Noon. Dust off those family recipes, bring in your very best Chili, and join in the contest; we expect this to be a great contest with lots of delicious Chili. Get those crockpots going!
The cost to enter the contest is $10, and after the contest, there will be plenty of Chili to taste and eat, with samples available for purchase: $15 for 5 different Chili recipes! The winner will receive a $100 gift card from an area restaurant!
South Bay Area Chefs will be judging the event. In addition, it’s that time of year for our annual Post 184 SALs Christmas Toy Drive, in conjunction with Joseph’s gift! The toy drive is for the children of veterans and active-duty members who are struggling during the holiday season. Please bring a new, unwrapped gift for children from birth to 18 years to Post 184, there is a box just inside the front entrance under the shuffleboard table.
