The American Legion welcomes all Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Coast Guard and Marines.

There is no rank at the Post and a corporal and a colonel can share drinks and good times.

Family members can join our Auxiliary or the Sons of American Legion (SAL's) organizations that are our support groups. American Legion eligibility is for a veteran to have served at least one day during time of conflict and be honorably discharged from the military.

American Legion membership eligibility dates are:
Persian Gulf war; August 2, 1990 - To the present,
Panama; December 20, 1989 - January 31, 1990
Lebanon, Grenada; August 24, 1982 - July 31, 1984
Vietnam; February 28, 1961 - May 7, 1975
Korea; June 25, 1950 - January 31, 1955
World War II;December 7, 1941 - December 31, 1946
World War I;April 6, 1917 - November 11, 1918

American Legion Dues are $25.00 a year.
Sons of American Legion (SAL's) Dues are $20.00 a year.
American Legion Auxiliary Dues are $15.00 a year.

American Legion Post 184 Members Meeting is in the Legions Hall at seven P. M. the second Thursday of each month.

American Legion Auxiliary, South Bay Unit No. 184 has their meeting at noon the third Tuesday of each month.

The Post's Sons Of American Legion Squadron 184, (SAL's) the support group for the Legionaires sons has their meeting at five P. M. the third Wednesday of each month.
